Get Away Summer
— Lislerud Gård
You know it is the month of August when the days are sunny and warm, but the nights remind us that it won’t be long till the leaves turn yellow and orange. This is the time to harvest the fresh, delicious vegetables the soil has produced over the summer. On our Summer Get Away, we travelled to Lislerud farm to do just that.
Thanks to all of our great contributors to our magical day at Lislerud farm: for the fresh dairy products: milk from a local farm (for ricotta and whey) and cream from Røros Meieriet (for butter). Thanks to for the weeds, vegetables and berries and – foraged and harvested together with our guests at Lislerud Gård. Thanks to Lislerud Gård for eggs and lamb meat, Tim Wendelboe for coffee and Non Dos for the wine suggestions.
