Community Brunch
— Terra Oslo

A huge thank you to everyone who came to yesterday’s community brunch at Terra Oslo. It was so beautiful to see how babies and grandmothers, artists and yogis, freelancers and nine-to-fivers all found their way to the same table.

We started with a breathwork landing led by Sunniva from Terra Oslo, followed by a mini concert with the spring edition of the project Året by Esther Buchmann and Kristoffer Pahle — before sharing a warm meal created to include everyone. That means everything from considering breastfeeding mamas who can’t have dairy, to sensitive bodies that don’t digest gluten, to those who needed a little extra natural hormonal support.

Spring has barely begun, and the evening before I took my daughter out foraging. We found an abundance of fresh young nettles, ground elder, dandelion leaves and lady’s mantle. So I swapped the spinach in the lentil stew for nettles, used dandelion leaves as a topping instead of rocket, and made a weed pesto from what we’d gathered — blended with sunflower seeds and apple cider vinegar.
